a gentle guide to sinking into the moment together

There’s something really beautiful about hitting pause on everyday life and stepping into a space made just for the two of you. That’s what these sessions are—an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and be seen in your own kind of magic. Whether you’re nervous, excited, or somewhere in between, here’s how to get the most out of your couple session with me:

1. Let Go of the Pressure to Perform

This isn’t about posing perfectly or looking like someone else’s Pinterest board. It’s about you two—your rhythms, your quiet laughs, the way your fingers naturally find each other. The most meaningful photos come when you’re simply being yourselves.

Don’t wait for me to tell you what to do. Keep moving. Keep loving on each other. Glide your hands across a shoulder, pull them in closer, run your fingers through their hair. Pretend I’m not even there. Just be in love, in your own little world, and I’ll be there quietly catching the magic.

2. Wear What Feels Like You

Pick outfits that you feel comfortable and confident in. Whether that’s barefoot in jeans or wrapped in flowy neutrals, wear something that makes you feel good. Avoid anything stiff or that needs constant adjusting. If it helps, send me photos—I’m happy to help you style your looks!

3. Move With Each Other

Movement is where the magic lives. Walk slowly. Hold hands. Twirl. Kiss mid-laugh. Tug each other close. Even the softest gestures—a thumb tracing over knuckles, a hand resting on their chest—bring warmth into the frame. Keep that energy flowing and I’ll guide only when needed.

4. Let the Weather Be Part of the Story

Don’t stress if it’s a little windy or if clouds roll in. Some of my favorite moments happen when things aren’t perfect—hair tousled by the wind, raindrops dotting shoulders, skies soft with stormlight. It all adds texture and emotion to your story.

5. Be Present With Each Other

This is your time to reconnect. Pretend it’s just the two of you—on a walk, on a date, in your own little love land. Whisper something silly. Share a memory. Think about what you love most about each other. Let that energy carry you through the session.

6. Trust the Process

You don’t have to worry about what looks good—I’m watching for the tiny in-betweens, the light hitting just right, the emotion tucked into a half-smile. Let go, trust the process, and I promise you’ll walk away with photos that feel like you.

At the end of the day, it’s not about the perfect pose or the most photogenic spot. It’s about telling your story, honestly and beautifully. I’m just here to capture the love that’s already there.

Let’s create something meaningful together. 🌿
